How to Order.
Photography Tips
Visitor Comments.

Upon ordering, I will require at least one clear and sharp, good quality close up photograph.

(See Photography Tips, for ideas on how to get the best out of your animal.)

Alternatively, I can for an extra fee come out and take the photographs myself. (Available only in the Coalville, UK area.)

Prices

Commissioned portraits vary in price according to size, complexity and the number of animals in the portrait.

The following starting prices are for single animal head studies, and A5 portraits of small animals. They may vary according to the portraits complexity. Custom sizes are also available at your request.

 Small      (A5) £30

 Med        (A4) £60

Med/Lrg (A3) £90

Group portraits

If you would like several animals in a painting you would need to add £30 per extra animal. Group paintings are done on a minimum size of A3.

So for two head studies in the same painting, it would cost £120.

Special Commissions.

For a full body portrait of any animal, (excluding small birds and rodents.) Or a portrait including people, and any other special requests you may have that are not mentioned here, you will be given an individual quote.

Backgrounds.

A detailed and complex background will obviously incur a higher price than that of a plain, pastel background. Individual quotes will be given.

Frames.

You can request the painting framed or unframed. A framed painting will cost an additional £4.

I will require a deposit of 20% of the paintings price when I accept your commission and before starting the painting. Once complete I will e mail you a proof of the work. You may then either accept the painting or suggest changes to be made.

Upon acceptance I will require the remaining money owed, after which I will send the painting to you.

All photographs will be returned.

Payment can be made by cash or check.

Waiting time is usually between 2 and four weeks. If you have a deadline sooner than that, I can for an extra £5 make your painting a priority order.
